Shelby is our everyday historian with a passion for making the past accessible, relevant, useful, gender inclusive and culturally representative. Her graduate studies in history combined with student teaching and non-profit internships instilled a desire to craft meaningful education that is applicable to everyday life and is historically sound to better identify the roots of these personal and professional issues that weigh us down. She is also an ardent advocate for cultural democracy and ensures that art is made accessible and understandable for everyone in our courses.
